2020 Shred Day – Our Fifth and Largest Year!
Thanks to all who participated in our 2020 annual shredding event last Friday. This year not only marked our fifth year of serving the community to shred and securely recycle paper and computers, but we experienced five times the carloads. This proved the need in the community following months of stay-at-home orders and plenty of cleaning and purging. We host this free community event each year as part of our effort to prevent identity theft and promote recycling. Our team persevered by serving. Additionally, we honor our value of going the extra mile and unloaded cars, trunks, trucks, and even a large box trailer.
We are grateful for the cooperating weather and please to be of such service to our community.
- 580 car loads
- Shredding and recycling of ~30,000 lbs of paper. 5 different Shred-It trucks had to come to our rescue.
- 80 computer and laptop hard drives destroyed and recycled with Cohen, another great Cincinnati family company.
- Fantastic weather with a faster moving line to shred on site.
The COVID-19 pandemic called for a change to our normal fun conversation and shredded BBQ sandwiches, but we were happy to serve such a large number of Blue Ash, Montgomery, West Chester and Mason residents. Our company intends to hold a community shredding event annually each June, so please keep your eye on www.twpteam.com/shredday for details next year.
I’m a bit of a videographer novice, so I’m happy to share a few time lapses from the event. I hope you enjoy.
Our hard-working team would enjoy the honor to serve your family’s money guidance needs. A conversation with an advisor is complimentary and without judgement or pressure.
We hope you have a delightful rest of your summer!
