A Celestial Celebration: Our Carmel Team Hosted an Eclipse Event

A Celestial Celebration: Our Carmel Team Hosted an Eclipse Event

As the moon danced across the sun on April 8, 2024, our Carmel, Indiana office welcomed clients and friends to view the wonder of the total solar eclipse. This rare celestial event, where day momentarily turns into night, was a perfect opportunity for our team to come together, bond, and share an unforgettable experience.

As the eclipse began, excitement buzzed through the air. Employees, clients and their families gathered outside, donning their eclipse glasses, and looked up in awe as the moon slowly covered the sun. The temperature dropped, and darkness enveloped us in the middle of the day, an eerie yet thrilling experience. Amy Woock’s thoughtfulness shined through the eclipse with plenty of Moon pies, Sun Chips, Orbit gum, and other refreshments for our guests.

It’s difficult to truly capture the moment without a professional photographer, so instead we’re sharing candid shots of our team at this or other events. These photos, a testament to the shared joy and wonder of the day, will be cherished memories for years to come.
Not all of our team could join us in Carmel, but they were with us in spirit—and technology. Employees from other locations shared their eclipse experiences and photos, watching with their families or local communities. Whether it was backyard gatherings or local park meetups, the sense of unity was palpable. For many, it was their first total solar eclipse, an awe-inspiring reminder of nature’s grandeur and the universe’s mysteries.

Our eclipse party was more than just a celebration; it was a moment of connection. It reminded us of the importance of coming together, sharing experiences, and the value of stepping away from our desks to witness the extraordinary.

Until the next eclipse, we’ll keep looking up, chasing new adventures, and fostering the spirit of community that makes our team truly unique.
